Pros: The Hertz staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: It was all fine and I have no suggestion for improvement.

Cons: The counter was closed so I couldn't get my car. Thankfully enterprise was open and helpful

Cons: The car we were given had an expired inspection sticker. It was also difficult to pick up. Location did not answer 4 phone calls and ended up taking an hour to find their desk.
Pros: Friendly fast staff. Car was great except for one glaring issue that wasn't the car's fault, see below.
Cons: Someone smoked a carton of cigarettes in this car and attempted to cover it up with Axe Body Spray. I learned of this when I started my seven hour trip to DC. I coughed and sneezed for the first hour until the cilia in my throat, mouth, and nose got enough of a coating to stop reacting. My face acquired a greasy film that required vigorous washing upon my arrival in DC. The car was awesome, but that smoke was terrible.
Pros: The staff was okay.
Cons: The vehicle was very dirty - dog hair, grass, and crumbs all over. It also didn't look as if the tank was completely full. I didn't see the condition of the car in the dark parking garage. When I got home to pack the car - in a big hurry to get on the road - I saw the state of the vehicle. I didn't have time to clean it before packing it to leave. It was really disappointing. I took pictures of the interior and exterior (dry bugs all over windshield) - and also a picture of the gas level. I busy moving my daughter out of state and haven't had time to contact Hertz yet. Will likely not use Hertz again in the future.

The lady at the Henrietta location next to Tully's is the rudest person I've ever come across. She was mean to everyone in line, about 9 separate people. She kept complaining she wanted to quit and hated her job and a truck came and took cars from here. She was awful. I will never go to that location again, not even if it was free.
The lady at the place I picked up the car in Henrietta NY was horrible, rude and mean to everyone there. Never again will I go there. Not even if it was free.
Their desk was dark/closed, so was directed to go back to the Avis desk. Only one of the associates was masked—clearly a policy and health violation of this in-airport location at ROC. Credit where it's due, the masked associate I worked with was helpful, pleasant, efficient, and assisted easily with a car swap. Just sorry she had to work in an environment of such blatant indifference.

Pros: The company is short staffed although the pick up location gal took care of me over phone calls interrupting her.
Cons: The vehicle that I had had a slipping transmission and needs attention. I told the girl at drop off but she was too busy to care.

Cons: Gave me a truck instead of a car and said if I wanted a car (which I reserved) I'd have tonoayb$15 more a day because they were out of compact and economy. Zero trunk and a high step for my elderly mother plus terrible gas mileage. Terrible service.

Cons: State inspection decal 3 months out of compliance.
Cons: Car was filthy inside and out. Super disappointing. My coat and the kids coats got dirty due to the car being in such poor shape. Additionally, that model of Ford is slow to respond and not a smooth ride. Will not rent again.

Cons: The day started off a little shaky. They could not get the safe open that had the keys for all the cars. They did call to say there was a small problem. It ended up only being a 20 minute delay. The customer service was friendly and polite. I would recommend enterprise and this location.

Pros: Got an amazing deal on a chevy tahoo rental. Then they were all out so we got upgraded to a 12 passenger van at no additional cost. It was amazing.
Cons: Nothing. Pick up was quick. Drop off was quick. Free upgrade was amazing. This was a perfect experience.

Had a bit of difficulty finding your office. A bigger sign would sure have been helpful, other than that, the lady manning your counter was VERY nice. I know it can be hard finding good help at present, so HANG ON TO HER!

Pros: The staff exceeded my expectations...we were late to the mall location and he calmed me down reopened the mall gate for me to enter...and had nothing but kind words to share with me as he obtained a rental car for me...Bravo!
Cons: Nothing...thank you sir...your customer service is second to none...
Cons: The car got a flat tire half way through the journey and it was supposed to have a spare tire under the car but it was missing.
Cons: Drop had issues and couldn't use their handheld devices. I had to go in and get checked back in myself.
Pros: The car was a very nice car, clean and new, drove well. Dropoff at the Pittsburgh airport was very easy.
Cons: The pickup location at Jefferson in Rochester was hard to find, and I couldn't figure out how to get through the phone system to talk to the person at the office to get more detailed directions. Representative could have been more informative about terms and where the car actually was.

Avis Bait and Switch
Cons: Avis did not have the car class that was confirmed in the reservation available -- in fact, they had no cars, only SUVs and a van. We had confirmed the reservation for a premium and without an upcharge only an SUV was available which was unsuitable for the event we were attending. We had no other choice but to upgrade to a van for an extra $100 or leave without a large enough vehicle. We should have walked away instead of agreeing to the extra expense. Avis will not consider any sort of refund for the extra charge which is very disappointing. Obvious bait and switch tactic and very unprofessional. In the future there are many other rental agencies to consider other than Avis.
Pros: The sales agent was accommodating.
Cons: The counter was busy and I found it tiresome to wait around to get some unresolved questions. The SUV that I rented appeared to be fine however there was windshield wiper fluid. It was totally empty. I reported this to the agent in Buffalo who tried to convince me that it was frozen. That was the reason given. This is the way they justified the fact that they didn't have fluid. Totally unacceptable given the conditions that I had to drive on in the winter storm.

Cons: At airport, no shuttle to off site rental car place. Called 1-800 # customer service to have them get a hold of somebody at offsite Alamo for a shuttle. Customer service agent did call the offsite place and said nobody was answering left a message with my contact # for them to get a hold of me and I still, to this day, Never received a call. It's been 4 days.

Pros: The manager when we picked up the vehicle was extremely helpful. He personally got our vehicle, warmed it up as it was 16 degrees and loaded our luggage for us. He really went above to assist us.
Cons: Alamo needs to correct their automated answering messages as they do not direct customers correctly. Was not able to get to a real person, messages sent you in a circle and then disconnects.

Cons: The drop shuttle was not there at 4am to take me to the airport. I had to call a Lyft.

If you could have more agents working it would shorten wait time. I waited in line to pick up car almost 45 min. Otherwise great experience. The lady who assisted me was very nice and quick overall. Just too few people to serve a long line.
Car was a banged up mess dents and scratches. Also low tire pressure sensor went off twice had to top off all four tiers 2x at a cost of $4 and was never reimbursed.

Pick up and drop off were easy and quick, I got a larger car with no extra charge, because they did not have the small car size. The Dollar counter was closed, everything was done via Hertz outlet. Overall, all great.
Flight was delayed, couldn't rent car upon arrival because sign at Dollar directed me to Hertz who was closed. Picked up car in am, paid for full 24 hours but only used it for about 7-8
As we navigate moving forward after a worldwide pandemic and work shortage . We as consumers are just not comfortable waiting in line for a simple drop off that should be more of a feature that is talked about upfront as waiting on line just before a flight is nerve racking to say the least.

The rental counter times should be posted clearly and the 800 agents should be trained better. I had a feeling the counter would be closed when we arrived but when I called the 800 number to confirm, I was told it wouldn't be a problem. When we arrived, all the counters were closed and we had to come back in the morning tp pick up our rental.
Pros: I cancelled the reservation and Dollar advised me to contact Expedia for my refund. When I contact Expedia they don't recognize the confirmation number, email address or credit card number that I used. Without any of those I can never get to speak to a live person.
